- TrialThere is no free trial for traffic: the trial costs $1.99 for 400 MB over three days. There is a Sandbox plan with no monthly fee, but traffic is billed from the first gigabyte.
There is no single entry price. The Sandbox plan carries no monthly fee and bills traffic at $5.00/GB in tier 1 countries; the cheapest plan with a fee, Builder, is $200/month plus VAT with 500 credits included and traffic at $3.00/GB. The per-GB rate falls with the plan and with the destination country.
SOAX is a UK company, founded in 2020 and based in Uxbridge, London, that sells residential, mobile and datacenter proxies through a single endpoint that lets you mix connection types within the same session. It's built for businesses that need volume and support rather than occasional use: there is no free plan, and SOAX's own FAQ explains it doesn't offer a free trial "because our priority is to prevent the misuse of our services for unethical purposes," charging $1.99 instead for a three-day, 400MB paid trial.
The cheapest subscription, Builder, costs $200 a month plus VAT and includes 500 credits (1 credit = $1) consumed according to traffic: the per-GB rate depends on the destination country, from $5.00/GB in tier-1 countries (US, UK, Japan) down to $0.35/GB in tier 3 at the highest volumes. Credits expire after 60 days (365 days on annual billing). Pool sizes are published per product: 155M+ residential IPs across 195+ locations, 33M+ mobile IPs across the same number of locations, and 300K+ datacenter IPs — though the company's own "About" page quotes a different figure for the residential pool (191M+), so both numbers should be read as marketing rather than an audited count.
On where its residential and mobile IPs come from, SOAX states they are "real IPs voluntarily shared by individuals" and that it runs "robust KYC procedures," but it does not name the specific app, SDK or program that collects that consent, so a visitor has no way to independently verify how permission to use someone else's connection was obtained.
