Hostinger is a Lithuanian company, headquartered in Vilnius and founded in 2004, offering mass shared hosting through its own hPanel control panel, alongside cloud hosting, managed WordPress and VPS. It mainly suits people running a small or medium site who don't want to administer a server themselves: a free domain for the first year, automatic SSL, unlimited free migration and backups (weekly on the Premium plan, daily from the Unlimited plan up).

The entry price of $2.99/month (Premium plan) is only available by prepaying a 48-month term; on renewal the price rises to $10.99/month, almost four times as much. Hostinger promises 99.9% monthly uptime and, if it falls short, offers a 5% credit of the monthly fee usable only against future purchases, with a 30-day claim window and several exclusions (scheduled maintenance, DDoS attacks, custom scripts, among others). Plans marketed as "unlimited" are subject to a fair-use policy with undisclosed CPU, RAM and process limits. Root access is only available on the VPS and cloud plans, not on shared hosting. Its data centres are located in France, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States (Phoenix, Boston and Asheville), India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brazil, with additional CDN nodes in Japan, Sydney and Johannesburg. The refund window is 30 days; for VPS plans it additionally requires more than 180 days to have passed since any previous VPS refund.
