The 1 USD per month is not a plan fee but the minimum billing charge applied to every active account, whether it serves traffic or not; the actual cost depends on the gigabytes served and the visitor's region. On the Standard network the price per GB is 0.01 USD in Europe and North America, 0.03 USD in Asia and Oceania, 0.045 USD in South America, and 0.06 USD in the Middle East and Africa. Verified on bunny.net on 13 September 2026.

Bunny.net charges per gigabyte served, with no fixed fee and no charge per request, with all features at the same price. Even so, every active account has a minimum billing charge of 1 USD per month, whether it serves traffic or not, something the pay-as-you-go slogan does not reveal.

Delivery is split across two networks: Standard, with 119 points of presence (PoP) in 77 countries, charges by the visitor's region, from 0.01 USD/GB in Europe and North America up to 0.06 USD/GB in the Middle East and Africa; Volume, aimed at video and software, drops to 10 points of presence with a flat rate starting at 0.005 USD/GB, in exchange for more distance to the user.

At the same published price it sells storage from 0.01 USD/GB per month, video with free transcoding, free DNS for up to 500 zones, a free tier of Shield against DDoS and bots, and an image optimizer with CSS/JS minification at 9.5 USD per month per site with unlimited requests.

The published SLA promises 99.99% uptime for the entire platform, with no breakdown by product and no detailed exclusions. Its status page does record recent incidents, such as failures in Bunny Stream in September 2026 and a critical error in the optimizer in June.
