FastComet is a cPanel shared hosting provider aimed at personal sites, blogs and small stores that don't need to manage their own server. Its most distinctive feature compared with similarly priced shared hosts is its data centre footprint: 12 locations across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Oceania and South America (including Dallas, Newark, Toronto, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai, Sydney and São Paulo), letting you pick a region close to the site's target audience rather than being tied to a single country.
The entry-level Starter plan costs $1.99/mo for the first term, but as is common in this segment the renewal price jumps sharply: to $9.95/mo, nearly five times higher. The higher tiers follow the same pattern. Every plan includes free SSL (Let's Encrypt), free site migration, daily backups and Cloudflare CDN; none, however, includes a free domain — only the transfer of an existing one. The panel is cPanel with the Softaculous installer, and SSH access is available, though root access is not advertised on the shared plans.
