Country restrictions
Wirex offers no service at all, neither account nor card, in South Korea, Japan, Russia, Belarus, Venezuela and Iran. In Vietnam, Indonesia, Ukraine, India, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey you can open an account but cannot order the card.
See the issuer's source · help.wirexapp.comWirex offers physical and virtual cards, on the Visa and Mastercard networks; it is issued by Wirex Pte Ltd in Asia-Pacific and Transact Payments Malta Limited in the European Economic Area. The same company also issues the BingX Card.
The Cryptoback program returns between 0.5% and 8% in the WXT token, which must be kept in staking depending on the tier. After the crypto side of the app was shut down in the European Economic Area and Australia, that cashback remains active only in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Wirex does not publish a closed list of banned markets: it only warns of restrictions arising from international sanctions.
