Where you can't apply
Kraken states it plainly in its documentation: the Krak Card is only available to individual customers in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the United States. Outside those three territories it cannot be requested, and there is no Latin American or Asian country among them. The page itself adds that “geographic restrictions apply” without detailing which ones within those regions.
See the issuer's sourceThe Krak Card, issued by Kraken, comes in three formats: virtual, physical and metal. It launched first in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area on July 13, 2026, on the Mastercard network, and as a separate product in the United States on August 18, 2026, this time on the Visa network.
Standard cashback reaches up to 1%, but rises to as much as 4% on travel bookings managed through Krak Concierge, paid out in dollars, pounds, euros or bitcoin. It charges no monthly or annual fee, and shipping of the physical card is free.
The account supports more than 600 different balances across fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies, and the fact that these are two separate launches — the UK-European one and the US one — explains why the payment network differs depending on where the card is obtained.
