ApolloX is a decentralized and centralized hybrid derivatives trading platform founded in 2021. The project launched with backing from Binance, which also uses ApolloX's protocol as the underlying engine for Binance's own derivatives infrastructure. ApolloX was designed to bridge the gap between the transparency of DeFi trading and the liquidity depth of centralized exchanges, offering traders a non-custodial perpetual futures experience without sacrificing performance.

The platform supports perpetual futures contracts on a wide range of cryptocurrency pairs with leverage up to 100x, alongside a standard spot trading section. ApolloX's decentralized mode operates on BNB Smart Chain and allows users to trade directly from their Web3 wallets without depositing funds on the exchange, maintaining full custody of their assets. The centralized mode provides a familiar interface with deeper order books and faster execution for users who prefer it.

ApolloX issues a native utility token, APX, which plays a central role in the platform's tokenomics. APX holders can stake their tokens to earn a share of the platform's trading fee revenue, receive APX staking rewards, and access reduced fees. The trading fee structure starts at 0.02% for makers and 0.07% for takers on perpetuals, making ApolloX among the most cost-effective derivatives platforms. APX can be earned through trading rebates and liquidity mining programs.

Security on ApolloX's decentralized mode is enforced by audited smart contracts on BNB Smart Chain, removing the counterparty risk associated with centralized custody. The platform has undergone multiple security audits by firms including PeckShield and Certik. The centralized side employs cold storage, two-factor authentication, and risk management systems to protect user funds. ApolloX supports BNB Smart Chain and other EVM-compatible chains for protocol integrations and liquidity routing.
